On July 25, 2009, the first annual Herb Noble Memorial Motorcycle run to benefit the families of children staying at the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center was held. Herb was a dear friend to the Bush family and to the Bentley's Saloon family.  Herb's son, Bob,  and other family members have worked diligently  to raise money for the foundation.  More than 80 bikes showed up for the run, and with all of Bob's perseverance and the donations from our community more than $6,000 was raised for the Children's Hospital.  It was a tearful moment when Debbie, whose family  benefited from the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital, stood up at the saloon and expressed her feelings about the foundation and how much it helped her child and their family.
